What is CSPN certification?
The certification, based on the deployment of the Rainbow private cloud, is the most reliable and authoritative in France. This attestation covers the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of information exchanged during communications configured using Rainbow. In particular, it concerns the encryption of streams between Rainbow clients and the Rainbow hosting service. It also covers the encryption of streams between two Rainbow clients in the case of “point-to-point” communication. These exchanges include instant messaging, files, voice and video calls, as well as screen sharing in “point-to-point” scenarios. The evaluation also focuses on the protection of user passwords and the storage of files on the server.
To date, only two other local video conferencing solutions have obtained the CSPN certification from ANSSI. Rainbow by Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise is the first certified solution in a private cloud format, where the service operation is delegated to ALE.
